The island is a 25-minute flight from Athens and is the largest of the Cyclades. Modern ferries bring you from Athens (3.5 hours) or Mykonos (1.5 hours) several times a day to this beautiful island.

Located on the west side of Naxos, Agapui is the perfect hub to explore the beauty of the island. Plaka, one of the longest and most beautiful beaches on the island, is directly in front of the house and just a short walk away. Depending on your mood and preference, you can head south, where the beaches become wilder and more tranquil, or go north, where the beaches are livelier and equipped with more infrastructure. Naxos Town and the airport are just a 15-minute drive away.

We are Susanne and Jörn, a family of four who fell under the spell of Naxos many years ago. In 2021, we stumbled upon Agapui, and it was love at first sight. This house has become our lifetime project—a place we cherish and carefully update while preserving its traditional charm and heritage. For us, Agapui is more than just a holiday home; it’s a sanctuary filled with history, beauty, and a sense of belonging.
